For three days, Ministry of Health(MoH), in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is conducting a training course on Communication Skills targeting obstetricians  and care providers from MOH, working in health centers and hospitals from all provinces in Syria , mainly from North-Eastern region. The workshop started on Mon 24 November and will be finished on Thursday 27th.

The course aims at building national capabilities on communication skills needed to achieve better quality of service including Psychological support needed for the victims of GBV.

This training is part of UNFPA Humanitarian Project (addressing Reproductive Health needs and GBV related issues), funded by the Norwegian Government. Further, the training is the second round of series of training courses addressing different groups of participants within MoH.

The training will take place at Sameramis Hotel.
