Projects
Increased availability of comprehensive, integrated, quality reproductive health services and information, including family planning and emergency obstetric care in selected underserved areas

Geographic Coverage: a special focus on the North, Eastern and Badia regions 

Total Budget: $ 6.86 mln.

Target Groups: Women and Men of reproductive age 

Project Overview: The project output is expected to be achieved by supporting the following key activities: (A) Strengthening emergency obstetric care system; (B) Enhancing quality of safe motherhood services, including antenatal and postnatal care; (C) Securing high quality FP services and commodities; (D) Improving the existing screening systems of early detection of cervical and breast cancer; (E) Provide capacity building support for provision of RTIs/STIs/HIV/AIDS services; (F) Strengthening the existing national logistic system and management of information system in support of reproductive health commodity security; (G) Introducing tools and methodology for effective monitoring of the supply and demand side of RH services with further follow-up mechanisms; (H) Supporting RH Research Activities; (I) Increasing community awareness of RH issues; (J) Provision of RH services to remote communities; (K) Provide RH capacity building support to NGO and Ob/Gyn Association.
