Description of Activities: The project output is expected to be achieved through undertaking the following activities: (a) building capacity of the existing and designated primary and referral health levels in the provision and management of reproductive health services; (b) ensure provision of quality reproductive health services in accordance with established manuals, tools & protocols; (c) building capacity of the concerned primary health care staff in communication/counselling techniques; (d) outreach campaigns to educate the beneficiaries on reproductive health and gender issues employing culturally sensitive approach and community sensitization events in support of addressing Iraqis needs; (e) advocacy workshop; (f) building capacity of the concerned health facilities’ staff on clinical management of gender-based violence related cases; (g) building capacity of the concerned staff in psychosocial support for gender-based violence cases and establishing referral mechanisms; (h) training of the concerned staff on Minimum Initial Service Package; (i) provision of reproductive health related equipment, supplies and kits as well as hygiene kits; (j) provision of the clinic at Douma Registration Center with drugs and supplies; (k) reproductive health promotional materials and brochures about available health facilities serving Iraqis in the country; (l) deployment of health staff to Douma clinic; (m) facility-based needs assessment; (n) deployment of one national professional project personnel.
